Our mission at Shona’s Food Company is simple:

Serve delicious comfort food that reminds us of home.

We receive local, seasonal CSA boxes each week here at SFC, and those fresh ingredients are what guide our weekly menus. When you eat here, you get a bit of the old country made with the freshest local and seasonal ingredients available.

Baps

The British version of the perfect breakfast/lunch/brunch sandwich, this freshly baked, tender pillow of dough is perfect for stuffing with shaved meats, fresh microgreens from Hop Frog Farms, and Sunrise Creamery’s luscious cheese. Our bap options rotate regularly based on the freshest available ingredients, but here are our current favorites:

  • Off-The-Bone Ham Bap: fresh cow’s milk cheese, microgreens Branston pickle, heirloom tomato, onion

  • British Bacon Bap: fresh cow’s milk cheese, microgreens, fried egg, heirloom tomato, onion

  • London Broil Bap: fresh Black cow’s milk cheese, microgreens, beet-horseradish sauce, heirloom tomato, onion

Pasties

Shona fills her tender pie crust and puff pastry with savory meats, tender vegetables, and the freshest cheeses from Sunrise Creamery. You try and pick a favorite - we’ll wait. Locally available and seasonally fresh ingredients drive the menu, so watch for all sorts of great hand pies. These are our current favorites:

Desserts

Freshly baked pastries and desserts from Shona’s special family recipes are waiting for you to share with your family! Here are our current favorite sweets:

  • The Bakewell Tart: featuring seasonal fruit from local farms and markets

  • Milk Cake: dense, moist sponge cake topped with in-house lemon curd

  • Boss Buiscuits: Shona gives Ted Lasso’s shortbread cookies an upgrade with her aunt’s shortbread recipe

  • Chocolate Cake w/ Chocolate Glaze: so simple, so classic, so chocolatey!
